The assistant secretary general witnesses the launch of Ramadan cultural and artistic nights at the Public Library of Egypt in Damanhour.
The evenings last for 11 days and include a large variety of events and artistic events.
Under the patronage of Dr. Nahal belba - deputy governor of Beheira, and within the framework of holding Ramadan evenings annually at the Public Library of Egypt in Damanhour.
Mr. Kamel Ghattas, assistant secretary general of the governorate, witnessed the launch of the Ramadan cultural and artistic Nights events organized by the Beheira culture branch of the Egyptian Public Library in Damanhour, in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Al - Hawash, director of the Egyptian public library, directors of directorates, representatives of Al - Azhar, the church and all concerned authorities .
The events will last for ten days at the Library Headquarters, including a plastic art exhibition entitled belonging to the artists of the lake in cooperation with the Damanhour Cultural Foundation, the opening of a skin burning workshop, the opening of a foam and Kanson workshop, drawing and coloring, and a watercolor drawing workshop for children.
The evenings also include many special events, where various religious and awareness lectures and seminars are held daily, in addition to art and handicraft workshops for children, drawing, coloring and face painting workshops, and daily cultural competitions.
In addition to performances of religious singing, folk arts and Arabic music, central artistic teams from several governorates are participating this year, including the Port Said folk arts troupe, the Fayoum Arabic music troupe, the anfouchi troupe, the Arab opera and others.
