The public in Damanhour is celebrating the International Day of the Arabic language.

The Egyptian Public Library in Damanhour organized a celebration of the International Day of the Arabic language under the title "my language is my identity", in which A.Dr. Eid Balbaa-former senator and dean of the Faculty of Arts in Menoufia،

The seminar dealt with the need to preserve the entity and status of the Arabic language and defend it from any influences or marginalization and exclusion by other languages, with the need to activate the role of universities, the educational process, curricula and teaching methods to enable the Arabic language to absorb all modern science, literature and knowledge.
The meeting was also attended by a group of leading poets of the lake and its cultural and intellectual symbols, who took upon themselves the task of defending the Arabic language, the language of the Holy Quran, and the meeting was moderated by Dr. Hisham Ruslan, president of the central Literary Club in the lake.
At the end of the meeting, certificates of thanks and appreciation were presented to the scientists, professors of the Arabic language, poets, guests of the meeting, as well as the participants in attendance.
