Mobile Library touring Jawad Hosni

The mobile library is touring the village of "Jawad Hosni" in Abu Homs as part of its tour of Beheira governorate today. Beheira-the media office within the framework of the governorate's plan to spread cultural and knowledge awareness to deliver library and educational services in the villages of "decent life" and spread the culture of reading among various segments of society by delivering the book to the reader and covering a larger number of areas where public libraries are not available. Beheira governorate, in cooperation with the Egyptian public libraries fund, is hosting the mobile library project to tour remote and random rural areas in the villages of "decent life" during the period from September to 12 September this year. The mobile library headed today to the village of Jawad Hosni at the Abu Homs center and held a series of educational and artistic activities in cooperation with the Beheira culture branch. The activities included making a frame with a tongue depressor and a book separator workshop, in addition to drawing and coloring workshops, foam workshops, a heat exchanger and a catcher for boys, a foam workshop for making bracelets for girls, a puppet theater, multiple storytelling workshops, cultural and entertainment competitions and distributing prizes to children. A Cinema Club screening of children's films was also held, and a boy and a girl from the village benefited from these services and activities. The project aims to enrich the cultural movement by touring a number of public places, villages and hamlets that lack libraries in the governorate to provide a variety of books, magazines, educational films and many activities that encourage young people to read and learn.
